We'd like to send our best wishes to all our customers and partners, not just for the New Year, but also the New Mayan Baktun!

The new baktun in fact started on December 21, 2012. It is an important date for local Mayans as it only comes round every 144,000 days in the Mayan calendar, and marks a moment for renewal and change. More information can be found on Wikipedia here.

The Magic of Design likes that this is a time of renewal and change. More cruise ships are visiting and our clients are coming back to the island. Both property owners visiting and rentals are up.

One of our favorite projects this year was a condo we designed in the north with clients from the States.

We think the condo turned out beautifully. This is a shot of the great room.

The clients had a local artist do the painting and we provided all the furniture and window treatments.

The property is managed by Isabella and Matias from Cozumel Seaside. If you would like to rent this property - a little slice of Heaven you could have for a week or two - feel free to contact them!
